At AZ Green Jackets, we firmly believe that the coach should not be the singular center of attention within the team dynamic. Instead, the coach serves a vital role as a facilitator of player development, guiding athletes through their journey while allowing their individual talents and skills to take center stage. Why I Started the Green Jackets

In recent years, youth baseball has undergone a significant shift, moving towards a model that often prioritizes profit and spectacle over traditional player development. Recognizing this gap in the system, the AZ Green Jackets was established to provide a much-needed alternative, focusing on long-term development and growth for young athletes. We are dedicated to offering access to high-quality training and mentorship through coaches who possess the necessary credentials, experience, and passion for the game.

Our Mission

• Develop high IQ players: We aim to cultivate players who not only understand the mechanics of the game but also possess a deep strategic awareness that enhances their performance and decision-making on the field. This is the scalable foundation that matters.

• Give players a chance to compete and grow: Our program is designed to provide athletes with numerous opportunities to compete at various levels, allowing them to challenge themselves and develop their skills in real-game situations. Players don't get better on "practice squads" - they growth through game speed action.

• Drive a love of the game: By creating a positive and engaging atmosphere, we seek to instill a genuine passion for baseball in our players, ensuring that their love for the game continues to thrive as they progress through their athletic journeys. The number one reason baseball loses talent? They quit. Not having fun > bad play > resentment > exit.
